Catnip Bravo in Welcome to SDCC - Part 4

We Made It to SDCC! (And Nobody Fell Into the Flippity Rippity Side!)

Mission accomplished!

After sailing across the ocean, surviving an unexpected kaiju attack, and having one of the weirdest adventures of my life...

We finally made it to San Diego Comic-Con!

I'm happy to report that everyone arrived safely.

Even Toad Hornace.

...Unfortunately.

Our Biggest Adventure Yet

When we first left for SDCC, I thought the hardest part would be remembering to pack enough snacks.

Instead, Toad Hornace decided to rise from the ocean as a giant monster and threaten to drag us all into the mysterious Flippity Rippity Side.

Naturally, I had to respond by revealing my secret giant kaiju costume.

You know...

Like a normal cat.

After an epic battle in the middle of the ocean, we finally reached San Diego just in time for Comic-Con.

I'd call that a successful road trip.

Even if most of it wasn't on roads.

Comic-Con Is Incredible

The second we stepped inside, I couldn't stop smiling.

Everywhere I looked there were amazing artists, incredible costumes, awesome collectibles, and fans sharing the things they love.

Firecracker Raccoon disappeared almost immediately.

A few minutes later he came running back holding a colorful drink.

"THIS PLACE HAS EVERYTHING!" he shouted.

I'm still not sure where he found it.

Even SB Bunny Approved

If you've ever traveled with SB Bunny, you know she doesn't get impressed very easily.

She carefully looked around.

Examined the booths.

Considered all available evidence.

Then she smiled.

"I remain skeptical... but impressed."

That's basically the highest compliment she gives.

This Is Why I Love Adventures

Every adventure is different.

Sometimes you battle giant frogs.

Sometimes you discover incredible artists.

Sometimes you meet people who become lifelong friends.

Comic-Con is full of people who love telling stories, creating art, making games, building costumes, collecting plushies, and sharing their passions with others.

It's impossible not to smile.
